National Industries seemed to have all the bases covered with manufacturing divisions in the
mineral processing engineering, equipment fabrication and fastener industries.
But these companies were lacking a reliable, high quality metal finishing
source.
The best
way to alleviate that problem was to create one for themselves. So, in
2002, amid the cornfields of Osgood, Indiana a new, state-of-the-art plating
company was built, Best Metal Finishing, to serve all of Elgin’s
needs. But Best Metal soon outgrew our limitation as an in-house supplier.
Today we serve as an effective resource for industry by providing the
perfect finishing touch.
